Inventory Module: Update, Retire or Delete Inventory Items
Cut Time allows you to edit your Inventory items list to ensure accuracy and keep the most up-to-date records. You can easily update, retire or remove inventory.
Update or Retire Inventory
- Click the Inventory menu.
- Scroll down to the item you want to update and click the Update button.
- Update the Type from the drop-down list if necessary.
- Update the Manufacturer from the drop-down list if necessary.
- Update the Location from the drop-down list if necessary.
- Update the Model information if necessary.
- Update the Model Number field if necessary.
- Update the Description field if necessary.
- Update the Purchase Date field if necessary.
- Update the Purchase Price if necessary.
- Add or update the Serial Number if necessary.
- Enter a Retirement Date if you are removing an item from inventory.
If the item was assigned to a member, be sure it has been returned before you remove it from circulation. - Click the Save button.
Delete Inventory
- Click the Inventory menu.
- Scroll down to the item you want to remove.
- Click the Delete button.
- Click the OK button in the pop up box to confirm the deletion.
