People Module: Primary Position

A Primary Position is assigned to a Member of an Ensemble/Group several different ways, (as outlined below) but once assigned within their Profile, their Primary Position will follow them throughout the Cut Time system.

Why do my members need a Primary Position?

When updating Rosters within the Mass Updaters or assigning individual Program Participation records, the members Program Participation Record will follow them so that the admin does not have to repopulate the members position each time they are added into a new ensemble.  If this is not the correct position for this member in the group/ensemble simply follow change the position for just that ensemble or follow the steps above to change the Primary Position for the members entire profile.
