People Module: Add or Update a Section
Sections are used to help classify people associated within ensembles. Positions are grouped together within Sections,
Examples:
Trumpet = Position vs. Brass = Section
Assistant Director = Position vs. Staff/Instructor=Section
Alto = Position vs. Vocalist = Section
Add a new Section:
- Click the Tools menu
- Click on Tools/Reports
- Scroll down to Tools - Setup and Configuration
- Click on People - Sections
- Click the Add Section button
- Click the drop-down Select a Section Type drop down that you would like to work with
- Enter the new section in the Section field
- Click the Save button
Update a Section:
- Click the Tools menu
- Click on Tools/Reports
- Scroll down to Tools - Setup and Configuration
- Click on People - Sections
- Scroll down to the Section Type you want to edit
- Click the Edit button
- Click in the field you wish to edit information for
- When finished, click the Save button to save changes
Delete a Section:
- Click the Tools menu
- Click on Tools/Reports
- Scroll down to Tools - Setup and Configuration
- Click on People - Sections
- Scroll down the Section list to select the section that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- Click the OK button in the deletion confirmation pop-up box
