Inventory Module: Add New Inventory Asset Types

Cut Time is pre-populated with a default list of Inventory Types. You can add additional types to fit your needs.

NOTE: You will only be allowed to update or remove names that you create.

There are two ways to access Inventory Types:

• Tools Menu 
• Inventory Menu

Tools Menu Access

1. Click the Tools menu.
2. Click the Inventory - Types link under Setup and Configuration.
3. Click the Add Asset Type button.
4. Enter the new asset type name in the Type field.
5. Click the Save button.

Inventory Menu Access

1. Click the Inventory menu.
2. Click the Add Item button.
3. Click the Add/Manage Types button.
4. Click the Add Asset Type button.
5. Enter the new asset type name in the Type field.
6. Click the Save button.
