Communications Module: How to Add News Stories and Notices

The News feature allows you to post stories and notices that appear on your Members' Profile pages. You can highlight achievements, send audition reminders, and promote your Group. 

How to Add News Stories and Notices

  1. Go to the Communications Module: News Page.
  2. Click the "Add news" button.
  3. Enter the following information:
    1. The title of the News posting in the "Subject" field.
    2. Select the Group(s) you want to receive the Post from the Ensemble/Group drop-down list.
    3. Enter the text of the Post in the Content field.
      1. Use the options on the tool bar to format the text, add images, elements, links, and code to the post.
    4. Choose the Start Date of when you want the News Post to appear on Profile pages.
    5. Choose the End Date when you want the News Post to disappear from profile pages.
  4. Click the "Post" button.

*Note: You can easily Edit or Delete news posts at any time, even after they are published. (See How)
