Getting Started: Change Default School Year Start Date

The School Year Start Date is the date on which the Cut Time system will change from one school year to the next.

Change Default School Year Start Date

1. Click on the Tools > Tools/Reports menu in the header bar.
2. On the right hand side of the screen, under Tools/Set up and configuration, click Your Organization’s information (the first link listed).
3. Scroll down to School year start 
4. Select the Month and Day from the drop-down list. This will be the day that the system will change over to the next academic year, each year.  It can be updated and changed as needed.
5. Click "Save"
6. Log out and back in to see the change in your account
